Bildung & Chancen

Austria's school system promises equal education for all, yet a child's educational path is often predetermined before they even step inside a classroom. In reality, PISA studies show that school success depends heavily on social background. This project makes that inequality visible. Spanning multiple pages of a fold-out poster, the infographics analyze language, social origin, PISA data, and the psychological impact of the education system.
I turned these dry statistics into a bold geometric design system. I used playful, oversized shapes—like circles, triangles, and bold numbers—to create a sharp contrast. The visuals look like children's building blocks, but the data reveals a serious societal failure. Ultimately, the poster serves as a direct call for educational equity.
