For the Candlelight Ficus »Music« cassette tape, I wanted to create music you can actually see. The core concept relies on cymatics, specifically Chladni patterns, which translate sound frequencies into geometric shapes. This approach turns the invisible harmony and structure of the tracks into tangible visual elements.

I grounded these scientific patterns in a distinct 70s aesthetic. The retro color palette, paired with repeating, psychedelic geometry, channels the era's experimental design language. To tie everything together, I used the Roko typeface, complementing the trippy visuals while keeping the overall layout clean and highly functional.
